Ashland Ohio Balloonfest

The Ashland BalloonFest will have another fabulous weekend in 2023. Hot air balloons, food & merchant vendors, live entertainment, activities for kids, spectacular balloon glows and much more.

Schedule:

4:00-8:00 pm: VIP Reception (VIP Tent) sponsored by Housekeeping by Heather & Company, Packaging Corporation of America and Uniontown Brewing for all sponsors and pilots – tickets required.

4:00-9:30 pm: Kids Fun Zone sponsored by Directions Credit Union, Gerwig’s White Barn and 91.1 Rise FM (Kids Zone) – Pony rides, inflatables, bubble soccer, Gem Mining and more.

4:00-10:00 pm: Food Vendors (Concessions) – Many to choose from! 4:00-9:00 pm: Merchant Tents – Featuring home improvement solutions, educational options, personal indulgence & much more.

4:00-9:00 pm: Ashland Library Bookmobile – Includes collections of books, magazines, audio books, CDs, DVDs. Something for everyone!

5:00-9:00pm: PhilUP Balloon Artist (Kids Zone) – Balloon Artist / Balloon Twister philupballoons.com

5:00-9:00 pm: TOP RAIL – Live musical entertainment sponsored by Bill Harris Chevrolet & The Chevy Network and WMFD (Main Stage) – Top Rail has used their unique “Eclectic Approach” to perform American Roots Music, including bluegrass, country, classic rock and more!

6:15 pm: Opening  Ceremonies (Main Stage) – Ashland Veteran’s Color Guard

6:30 pm: John Sidle Founder’s Flight sponsored by Donley Ford of Ashland (Launch Field) – Enjoy the cold inflation process as pilots and crew prepare hot air balloons to take area media representatives for a ride.

8:15 pm: Balloon Glow Encounter (Launch Field) – Tickets for Reserved Premier Seating can be purchased online.

9:15 pm: Balloon Glow Sponsored by OhioHealth (Launch Field) – Enjoy an interactive display as hot air balloons line the launch field and glow against the night sky choreographed to music.
