The Delta Queen, an elegant steamboat, loved by many for over 60 years, was brought to Cincinnati from California by the famous Greene family. Learn the history of the Greene Line Steamer Company and how they survived and prospered when others failed. ”Ma” Greene was a ”Petticoat Skipper” in a riverman’s world. Her husband, Gordon, was the strength and ingenuity of the company, and their son, Tom, was the bold risk-taker who undertook the perilous journey transporting the Queen to the Port of Cincinnati.
