Nationally touring headliner

Jason Resler is a stand-up comedian and a writer. He has also done a little bit of bad acting. Never the less he has performed improv with Academy Award winner Robin Williams in front of a sold out theatre. He is a well decorated US Naval war veteran, a father, and he has resigned from the US Postal Service, voluntarily, after numerous disagreements with management. He listens to 80's metal bands. He is a baseball fanatic, a road warrior, and an alternative high school spelling bee champion. Hailing from Sacramento, Ca. Jason is blue-collar from the north, laid back yet enthusiastic, and more self-educated than un-educated.

Jason has wanted to be a comedian ever since he was convinced, mostly by his own coaches, that he'd probably never be able to hit a big league curve ball. Now he headlines at top comedy clubs, resort casinos, universities, and theatres nationwide with over 200 show dates annually since '98.

Described by the Sacramento News and Review as, "Sharp, smart material that kept the crowd in hysterics!" Jason's own style of comedic storytelling and ranting is punchline driven comedy that makes you think.

Jason was named among America's Top Working Comedians by Entertainment Business Journal. His comedy album "Road Comic" contains over 55 minutes of material and recieves regular airplay from Raw Dog Comedy on Sirius/XM Satellite Radio and Comedy Icons on Pandora Radio. His follow up album "The Little Train who had Damned Well Better" is scheduled for release later this year. His stand-up special DVD, "Seaman Resler and other Sea Stories" contains over 90 minutes of solid laughs.

Resler's TV credits include 2 appearances on Comedy Central's Laugh Riots, a whopping 5 appearances on Comedy Time, and a featured acting role on America's Court with Judge Ross where his portrayal of the slick talking repo-man defendant had the entire courtroom and the judge in hysterics!

Jason is also the self appointed Un-Official Comedian of Major League Baseball. It's unofficial so that you are not required to obtain express written consent from the commissioner of major league baseball to book him for a gig.
