Heritage of Flight Festival and Parade

Eighteen years ago New Carlisle’s Annual Parade of Planes organizers joined with The Heritage of Flight Festival Committee to present New Carlisle’s First Annual Heritage of Flight Festival and Parade. Expanded from a 1 day summer event, this 3 day fall festival has become one of our area’s most popular attractions. The Heritage of Flight Festival boasts an impressive array of events and activities on Main Street in beautiful New Carlisle, Ohio.

Event Schedule
7:00 am to 11:00 pm - Carnival Rides & Games , Concessions & Vendors 50/50 Raffle , Live Entertainment
7:30am to 10am - Impact Bethel Pancake Breakfast - United Methodist Church - Main & Madison Streets
8:30am - 5k Walk/Run - Bike Path @ Smith Park Shelter House  - Registration begins at 7:45 am REGISTRATION
9am to 10pm - Silent Auction - Main Street - Next to the Community Health Center
11am - Parade Of Planes - Parade begins at Jefferson and Church Streets then travels north. - New Parade Route
11am to 11pm - Beer & Brat Hangar W/Big Screen Sports - Across from MAIN Stage
12pm to 4pm - Live Caricatures & Cartoon Portraits - By Dan Foster … on Main Street
12:30pm - Flight Ambassador Crowning Ceremony - MAIN Stage - REGISTRATION
1pm to 3pm - Young Eagles Free Plane Rides - Andy Barnhart Airport (SR 571)  ages 8 thru 17
1pm - Chicken Dance World Record - Join us at the MAIN Stage as we attempt to break the World Record for largest group of chicken dancers.
2pm - Silly Safari - Live Animal Show - MAIN Stage  SillySafaris.com
2pm to 3:30pm - K99 Toy Run 2023 - Benefiting Dayton Children's Hospital - American Legion Post 286 – Check-In: 12 noon, Clutch-Out: 2pm
3pm to 10pm - 2023 Bike Show - Corner of Main & Jefferson. Bring out the bikes and join us. Contest Judging starts at 5:30pm.
3pm - Unicorn Challenge - MAIN Stage
4pm - Wing Eating Contest - MAIN Stage – First Prize: $150, 2nd: $100 and Trophy ($5 entry fee)
5pm - Conner Budurka Band - Country Music – MAIN Stage
5:30pm to 7pm - K99.1 FM - LIVE with Nancy & Woody - New Country Radio
