The City of Dublin and the Wesley G. Davids Dublin Post 800 of the American Legion would be honored to have you, your family and friends join us to commemorate the honorable men and women who lost their lives in service to our country.

11 a.m.
Procession through Historic Dublin with a wreath-throwing ceremony at the Bridge St. bridge

11:30 a.m.
Memorial Day Ceremony at the Dublin Cemetery located at 83 West Bridge Street

Noon
Complimentary community picnic lunch at Monterey Park

The general public is invited and encouraged to attend. Please bring blankets and lawn chairs for your comfort. Free parking is available at Dublin Community Church and more parking can be found throughout Historic Dublin.

Keynote Speaker, Lt Col Bonnie Gamary

Lt Col Bonnie Gamary is a retired member of the Ohio Air National Guard. She retired in 2018 after 38 years of service. She served as an enlisted member and later was commissioned. Lt Col Gamary has served around the world and held many positions with her last one as Air Director of Communications for the state of Ohio at Joint Force Headquarters. She continues to serve the military in multiple volunteer capacities including as community member of the Purple Star Club at Dublin Scioto High School. Bonnie was a high school Family Consumer Sciences educator for 35 years, 17 of those years at Dublin Scioto.

She is currently a Senior Lecturer at Ohio State University teaching prospective teachers. She lives in Dublin with her husband and is the parent of two young ladies who graduated from Dublin City schools.
