The Euclid Joint Veterans Council welcomes you to the City of Euclid’s Memorial Day Services and Parade, Monday May 29th, 2023.

Memorial Day is dedicated to war Veterans who have died for their country.

The Joint Veterans Council will host Graveside Services recognizing our departed Veterans starting at 7:45am at Euclid Cemetery, then immediately following at St. Paul's Cemetery.

Our parade will begin at 10am and will run from Lakeshore Blvd. behind the Irish American Club down East 222nd St. to Euclid City Hall. Our theme is: All Gave Some, But Some Gave All.

Parade awards will be given in the following categories: Floats, Marching Bands, Marching Units, Youth Groups, and Novelty.

We ask that parade viewers line both sides of East 222nd, but only the NORTH side of Lakeshore Blvd. The parade route runs down the North lane of LSB, and all of East 222nd to Euclid City Hall. Lawn / camp chairs are encouraged!

Immediately following the parade will be a memorial service lead by the Euclid Joint Veterans Council in which the names of every Euclid veteran who has died while on active duty are read out loud. This service takes place at the Euclid Veterans Memorial outside Euclid Public Library.

Please come take part in this Euclid tradition. We hope to see you there!
