Quilts 2020 is the 29th annual Quilt Show at Farmpark, displaying works from a juried show of regional quilters. Enjoy beautiful quilted works, including traditional bed quilts, contemporary wall art and apparel. Information about the quilts, including artist name, city and story behind their work is posted on each piece.
9:30am - 4:30pm: The Stitches Sampler Class
All levels, six-hour workshop, hand stitching, Fee: $48
The Stitches Sampler Class is one that welcomes beginners as well as intermediate wool appliqué stitchers wanting to learn embroidery stitches to embellish their work. It will be created on a ten-inch wool block with four three-inch circles that have four two-inch circles stitched on top. There will be some at-home preparation for class. Learn 16 stitches on a series of four double wool circles using perle cotton. The wool kit is $18 and includes a photo card with all of the stitches labeled. A matching perle cotton thread kit with four spools of thread will be available for $21 and includes two variegated threads and two solids. See supply list for more details.
