For as long as humans have been creating art, music and performance have been a part of our creative journey. Visual art, song and dance have all be used to tell stories, celebrate spirituality and mark important occasions. The importance of music in our long cultural history has been well documented – with the written word but also in pictures.
Eisele Gallery is pleased to present a new exhibition featuring artworks inspired by the theme of Music. This exhibition will highlight artworks by artists that reinforce the connection we have to music and the importance it has in our global society. Each artist in this group exhibition is creating a visual interpretation of sound and music. The inspirations include musical lyrics, instruments, performance and sound.

The exhibition will be on view at the Eisele Gallery starting January 13th and will be on view through Febuary4th, 2023. A reception for the artists will be held at the Eisele Gallery on Friday, January 13th from 6 – 9 pm. The exhibition and reception are free and open to the public. “Sound Envisioned” is organized by resident curator Sandy Eichert.
