8. Barnesville Pumpkin Festival, Barnesville, OH

For over 50 years, the Barnesville Pumpkin Festival has been the biggest pumpkin celebration in the country. They've sold off pumpkins weighing over 1,700 pounds and feature pumpkin games alongside pumpkin treats that the whole family can enjoy!

I had such an amazing day today at the Barnesville Pumpkin Festival! My mom and I are on the Festival committee but today I had double duty. I had a wonderful time during opening ceremonies with Queen @alana.trigg and her mother @tonyatrigg who was also a former Pumpkin Festival Queen. Also pictured are the King Pumpkin Growers Todd and Donna Skinner who are Barnesville natives and now hold the record for the largest Pumpkin in the state of Ohio! I'm so proud of Gianna @d_rubel7 for winning Pumpkin Baby tonight! I also had a wonderful time judging the talent show! Onto more Pumpkin Festival shenanigans on Saturday with @missmiamivalley18 @hannzimmerman πŸŽƒ #MissMontgomeryCounty #MissOhio2018 #MissOhio
