If you are looking for something and educational without seeming like you are at a educational center this is the place. There is a very large amount of activities held throughout the day that allow you to have hands on experiences with the staff. There is such a wide range of things to do under one roof. No matter what you or your child is interested in you will be able to find it here. And beyond the fun you will have here the staff is amazing. They are willing to answer any question your child might have and will go above and beyond to make sure you are having a great experience. It gets very busy in the afternoon, I would suggest trying to be there when then open, this will allow you the time to see more as the number of people in attendance grows in the afternoon.

A great place for kids! this is a very Hands-On and informational place to take kids. They seem to have everything from planets all the way down to insects. Each room has something new to discover, with Hands On Learning Adventures in each room. it's a very fun way for kids to learn. Make sure and take time to see a movie in the Dome Theater they have. Very awesome movies that keep both kids and adults entertained the whole time!

Stopped in to let our preschool child burn some energy on a long road trip, worked like a charm, but he didn't want to leave. Large multi-level play area, many interactive science displays, several well designed animal displays. Seemed to me best suited for kids under about 10 or 12 at the oldest. Pretty busy for midday on a weekday. We have a zoological club membership that got us a discount, full price is a bit steep for three people.

This place is very nice and I like it. It's fun here and you actually can learn from this place because it teaches you things you might not have known. I seriously think this place is fun. Almost every time that I come here, there is something new that I enjoy. When I last went there there was like a passport book that you had to go over to each station to stamp saying that you went to that area. Also, seeing the animals was pretty exciting. If you go here at some point, this place is fun.

Arguably the best place to take kids in Dayton. Would recommend a yearly pass to save money if you live in the area. It can be pricey. My family goes several times a month using our family pass. Kids always seem to find things to do even though we've gone dozens of times.
