The Oberlin Heritage Center is our community’s historical society and historic preservation organization as well as a complex of historic sites that is accredited by the American Association of Museums. Our non-profit membership organization is dedicated to preserving and sharing our community’s unique heritage and making our community a better place to live, learn, work, and visit. Founded in 1903 as the Village Improvement Society, our organization was known until recently as the Oberlin Historical and Improvement Organization (O.H.I.O.).
