A wonderful place with super friendly staff/volunteers. We arrived on Saturday during normal posted hours and found a fun “valentines day” event happening. They had crafts, snacks and 4 of their amazing owls out to meet. Then we saw the other birds and companion animals. Feeding the birds in the aviary was fun. Beware the blue jays, they can be a little more “aggressive” about snagging the food from your hands. It was exciting for the older kids but can surprise the little ones.

The staff are passionate and involved in the community, and you can tell they really care about the birds. They have a super friendly cat that hangs around too. Low admission and well worth it to become a member and support their work!.

This place is so cool because you can learn, see, and touch birds. Plus you can buy some food and feed some birds in their cage.
