About the Strongsville Branch:

The Strongsville Branch is located on Westwood Drive in the rapidly growing suburb of Strongsville, in the southwest corner of Cuyahoga County. Located near the center of town, the library is within walking distance of a new recreation center, the police and fire stations, city hall and a middle school, making it a central part of the community.

In September 2003, a new 35,000 square-foot library building replaced the 13,000 square-foot library on Pearl Road that had been in use since 1971. The new building evokes a sense of openness with its high ceiling, use of daylight and expansive floor plan that allows patrons to feel at ease when browsing. In contrast to this open plan are many intimate seating areas located within the magazine, teen, and children’s activity areas. The children’s activity area is designed to help develop a child’s physical and mental skills through educational toys.
