From the Coffee Emporium, it's only a 30-minute trip up the road to the Little Miami Scenic River and Trail, where you can experience what this road trip is truly about: the beauty of fall! Take a short hike and watch the leaves turn orange and fall before you hit the road again.
After lunch, strap in for a 45-minute drive to Deer Creek State Park near Mt. Sterling where you can work off those calories on a scenic and relaxing hike through the fall foliage while enjoying the sights of nature and wildlife along Deer Creek.
Don't wear your shoes out too much on that hike though, because no fall road trip would be complete without a trip to an apple orchard to pick some apples! The Orchard and Company provides you with lists of which apples are most ripe, so you'll have the perfect snack for the rest of your trip.
