Memorial Day Parade

The Olmsted Falls Park and Recreation Board is planning a Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony on Monday, May 29, 2023. or float. All organizations, walking and/or driving, are required to register (see attached form).

The purpose of the Memorial Day parade is to honor and commemorate U.S. men and women who died while in military service to their country; as such any parade participants and/or decorations are required to be respectful of this purpose. The City of Olmsted Falls Park and Recreation Board reserves the right to reject any float artifacts, decorations or individuals that do not abide by this guideline. Political signage or stances will not be accepted.

The parade will assemble in the east parking area at Falls-Lenox School at 9:00 a.m. and will depart at 9:30 a.m. The parade route this year will be as follows:

- Depart Falls Lenox parking lot onto Bagley Road (heading east).
- Travel east on Bagley Road to Columbia Road.
- Travel north along Columbia to The Village Green.
- The ceremony will take place at the Village Green gazebo.
