Memorial Day Parade - West Chester Township

Signups are now open for the 2024 Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony in West Chester Township, Ohio.

Our local veterans’ organizations plan and execute the West Chester Memorial Day observation each year with support from the Township’s public safety and public services departments. Special thank you to members of the West Chester Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 7696 and the Havelock D. Nelson American Legion Post 681 West Chester/Liberty Twp. Ohio.

The Memorial Day Parade promotes a family-friendly atmosphere and pays tribute to those who serve our country. All participants must agree to follow the guidelines and rules set forth by the organizers.

The parade assembles at the Boys and Girls Club of West Chester/Liberty beginning at 9 a.m. and steps off at 10 a.m. Monday. This is primarily a walking parade, covering approximately 1 mile downhill. The parade marches south on Cincinnati-Dayton Road and west on West Chester Road to arrive at the cemetery.
