Definitely a great place to visit for those interested in history as well as with kids. Being able to go inside train cars and engines is fun as well as a great learning experience for the kids. Being right by the NS yard is awesome for those wanting to see moving trains as well.

It's a great museum been there multiple times I learn something new each time I go there. Bellevue is one of my favorite spots to railfan and the Museum's just the cherry on top.

We actually re-visited this place because there are friendly helpful people there who are able to recommend items to look out for on your self-guided tour. Lots of steps into actual trains for us over-60's people. But if you're willing, there is a wealth of history & onfo. Can't wait to take our Grandkids next time!
